GM designed the 6.6L L5P Duramax around the lifestyle of their customers. Tough, dependable, and rugged. Unfortunately, the Duramax's plastic cooling components, specifically the radiator, don't exhibit the same attributes. Luckily, the Mishimoto engineering team has developed a robust radiator for your 2017-2019 Chevrolet/GMC 6.6L L5P Duramax. Our L5P aluminum radiator features fully aluminum construction, professionally fabricated with stunning TIG welds. This durable aluminum construction improves strength and works alongside our strategic core design to provide superior heat dissipation. Our radiator's core offers a 25-percent increase in coolant capacity and a 14-percent increase in total core volume for additional cooling capacity. The Mishimoto radiator fits 2017-2019 L5P Duramax equipped vehicles with just minor trimming of the radiator fan shroud to accommodate our thicker core. We've also included a Mishimoto Magnetic Drain Plug to aid in capturing any metallic debris in your coolant, further extending the life of all the components in your cooling system.
