If you’re looking for unmatched off-road capability, your search is over. Built to our specs by King Off-Road Racing Shocks, these multi-tube bypass shocks feature Carli-specific pistons, shafts, and valving to deliver confident performance over the most challenging off-road terrain. Bypass shocks utilize external tubes to create a shock with multiple compression zones. Typically, there will be a tube bordering the compression zone at ride height that will allow fluid to freely move around the piston giving a supple ride. Once uneven ground is encountered, the piston will move upward closing off the port, thereby forcing all fluid through the valving which substantially increases the shock’s resistance in this secondary zone. The tubes (one for compression, one for rebound) are fitted with one-way check valves and feature damping adjustment for fine tuning. Bypass style shocks are ideal for rigs that run at high speeds over rough terrain where they must endure repeated long travel, fast piston speed, high intensity suspension events.
