Overview
This 6-inch lift kit from BDS Suspension is designed to improve the stance, performance, and capability of 1977–1987 Chevy and GMC 1/2 ton trucks and SUVs, including the K5 Blazer, K10, and K15 (4WD). The kit includes everything necessary to complete the install and provides clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Up front, the kit features Glide-Ride leaf springs, a 4-inch steering arm for steering correction, brake line brackets, and precision-tuned shocks. The rear utilizes a high-strength lift block, longer U-bolts, and a matching set of shocks. Rear spring options and shock options are available to suit different build goals.

Important Notes
- The 1/2 ton commonly came with a factory 52-inch eye-to-eye rear leaf spring; however, some were produced with a 56-inch rear spring. If ordering rear leaf springs, measure your factory rear spring before ordering.
- If equipped with a factory front sway bar, order the front sway bar shackle link kit listed in the accessories section.
- Some vehicles came with factory front dual shocks. To replace the factory duals, you must order the additional two auxiliary shocks in the options.
- Exhaust modification may be required to clear the front driveshaft.
- #001608 comes with OE style rubber bushings installed.
